What is My Bitsi?
My Bitsi is an interactive learning platform created by teachers in Scotland. Through engaging video tutorials, digital activities and hands-on projects, children develop valuable digital skills while building their confidence and creativity.
Children follow a structured learning journey, beginning with block-based coding before progressing to text-based programming. Each module builds on previous learning, helping children take on increasingly challenging projects at their own pace. Built-in opportunities for support and further challenge ensure that every child can keep progressing.
New modules are added every week, so there is always something new to discover, create and learn. Bitsi keeps screen time positive and purposeful.

Celebrate Every Achievement
As children complete modules, they earn badges and stars that recognise their effort and achievements. They can use their stars on accessories for their very own Bitsi robot, making progress feel fun and rewarding.
These rewards help children stay motivated while giving them and their grown-ups a clear view of how they are progressing.

How it works
Grown-ups set it up
One parent account, free or on the Family plan, for as many children as you have. You stay in control and can review your child's activity and Bitsi screen time at any time through the Parent Hub dashboard.
Children pick their robot
Each child gets their own robot avatar to customise using stars earned through their achievements and completed missions.
Progressive curriculum
Lessons and tutorials carefully guide your child from understanding the fundamentals of coding through to building their own creative projects.
Built with Safety in Mind
Digital wellbeing is at the heart of what we do. Offline activities are rewarded just like online missions, and there's no endless scrolling and no streaks.
We collect as little as possible from children: no accounts, emails or photos, just a first name or nickname and their progress. They can't spend any money, and they can't communicate with anyone through the Bitsi platform.
We recommend that children are supervised when using bitsi.kids and any other websites or apps they use as part of the suggested activities.
